An injury usually means treatment in one place and training in another, with no one joining the two up. You leave with a sheet of exercises and a recommendation to rest, and the progress and routine you worked hard for slips away.
At CBJ Clinical your physiotherapist assesses you, treats you and prescribes your rehab, then coaches you through it on the gym floor. One practitioner, one plan, and the same CBJ support around you the whole way.
Whether you need an assessment, ongoing treatment, or coaching through your rehab, there's an appointment that fits.
A little longer than a standard session so nothing gets missed.
A full history, a movement assessment and hands-on treatment, then a rehab pathway prescribed for you to take away.
Your first visit to CBJ Clinical, whether it's a new injury or something more chronic that hasn't settled on its own.
Physiotherapy expertise combined with the one on one coaching CBJ is known for.
Sessions are centred on coaching, with manual therapy available within the appointment where it's indicated. The focus is building your confidence in the gym and progressing your strength, while any niggle or injury that needs a physiotherapist's eye is rehabilitated alongside it.
The later phases of injury rehabilitation, training around persistent pain or injury, or getting started in the gym if that feels daunting following an injury.
A follow-up appointment to keep your rehab moving in the right direction.
We reassess how you're tracking, treat what still needs treating, and adjust your rehab pathway based on how you've responded since your last visit.
Continuing treatment once your pathway is in place, or when you already know the area that needs attention.
A back, shoulder, knee or hip that keeps flaring up and hasn't settled on its own.
You want a structured, coached path back to full training.
You want to train with someone who understands the clinical side of your situation.
Rest alone won't get you there. Strength, capacity and confidence all need rebuilding.
Pain or a past injury has knocked your confidence. We rebuild it session by session.
Keep training with your group while getting the clinical support you need.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Masters in Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, Bendigo. She has spent the past several years in musculoskeletal physio, diagnosing and treating injuries and guiding people back to sport and everyday life, and has worked as a field physio for sporting clubs.
She also specialises in vestibular physiotherapy, assessing and treating dizziness, vertigo and balance problems. It's an area she developed after working in neurological rehabilitation, and one she remains passionate about.
She has a strong interest in strength development, particularly for women, and runs every CBJ Clinical appointment herself. The practitioner treating your injury is the same one coaching you back to full training.
